Designed by Robert Trent Jones Jr., the Woodlands Course at Sunriver Resort debuted in 1981. The 6,913-yard, par 72 course is a local favorite and is a great challenge to play. The Woodlands has tree-lined corridors and very challenging greens in which to approach. Prized by golfers for its superb conditioning and beautiful setting, the Woodlands is among the Northwest's finest championship courses. The abundance of water and outcroppings of lava rock place a premium on shot accuracy. There are many scenic views of Mount Bachelor from a handful of places on the Woodlands, which only adds to this tremendous golf experience.
