Crux Fermentation Project
Crux Fermentation Project is located in the retrofitted old Aamco Transmission shop at the “crux” of the North, South, East and West parts of Bend, this brewery and pub’s name was inspired not only from their location, but from the fermentation or crux of the brewing process. The Crux Fermentation Brewery was designed to allow for non-traditional brewing methods like decoction mashing, open fermentation, oak barrel aging, wild yeast strains and experimental hops, producing bold, aggressive beers.
Featuring a warm exposed beam interior with indoor and outdoor seating and a view of the Cascade Mountains to the west, Crux is open for lunch and dinner, Tuesday through Sunday.
We may be a bit hard to find, but we’re right smack in the middle of Bend, Oregon. Take the road less traveled and brave the “Private Road” and “No Outlet” signs— you’ll be rewarded with 20+ original craft beers on tap and an expansive panoramic view of the Cascade Mountains which at dusk hosts Central Oregon’s most incredible sunsets at Crux Fermentation Project.
