Travel Oregon
The Oregon Tourism Commission, dba Travel Oregon, is a semi-independent agency created by the Oregon Legislature in 2003 to enhance Oregonians’ quality of life by strengthening economic impacts of the state’s $8.3 billion tourism industry.

Travel Oregon staff oversees the development and implementation of a biennial strategic marketing plan which includes advertising and marketing, publication development, cooperative promotions, consumer fulfillment, public relations, international marketing, tourism product development, State Welcome Centers, research, and industry relations. Travel Oregon cooperates extensively with local communities, industry associations, government agencies, and private businesses in the implementation of its strategic plan.

Oregon Lodging Association
The Oregon Lodging Association is a statewide nonprofit trade association representing Oregon's lodging industry. OLA was formed to promote and protect the lodging industry in Oregon, is affiliated with the American Hotel & Lodging Association in Washington D.C., and currently represents over 1200 hotels, motels, bed-and-breakfasts, resorts, recreational vehicle parks, and lodging-related vendors.

The Oregon Restaurant Association (ORA) is the leading business association for the restaurant industry in Oregon. Comprised of more than 9,000 restaurant and foodservice outlets, the industry employs a work force of more than 110,000, and creates a total economic impact of $9.7 billion.

Central Cascades Geotourism Mapguide Project
National Geographic, in partnership with Washington and Oregon, has launched the Central Cascades Geotourism Initiative, an interactive nomination process for the development of a geotourism “MapGuide” for the Central Cascades region, stretching from Mount Rainier National Park to Crater Lake National Park. A community-based nomination process will be opened where residents and visitors may nominate unique landmarks, attractions, activities, events, and businesses that define the region’s character and distinctive appeal.

Oregon 150
Honoring Oregon's Sesquicentennial Birthday. Oregon was admitted to the Union on Feb. 14, 1859. Oregon 150 is the nonprofit organization planning Oregon’s year-long, state-wide sesquicentennial celebration as a result of the Oregon Legislature's Senate Concurrent Resolution 27 which encourages Oregonians to "celebrate the richness of the state’s past and present, and collectively help imagine Oregon’s future.”

U.S. Travel Association
The U.S. Travel Association, formerly the Travel Industry Association (TIA), is the national, non-profit organization representing all components of the $740 billion travel industry whose members include airlines, hotels and tourism agencies. TIA's mission is to promote and facilitate increased travel to and within the United States.

Discover America
The Travel Industry Association (TIA) has launched the first Offical U.S. Travel Tourism website titled DiscoverAmerica.com. This one-stop site features content on all 50 states, dozens of cities, the five U.S. territories and a "Stories" section where travelers can share their online "story" about their United States travel experience. The content is available in five languages — English, French, German, Spanish and Japanese.
