While much of the country continues digging out from a winter of heavy snow, golf season has happened upon us here in Central Oregon.

As March begins, several local courses are already open, a few more plan to open this week and the others have announced opening dates further along this spring. Here’s a rundown as of February 29th.

• Black Butte Ranch – Glaze Meadow, April 18th
• Crooked River Ranch – Open
• Juniper Golf Course – Open
• Kah-Nee-Ta – Open
• Lost Tracks Golf Club – Open
• Meadow Lakes – Open
• Old Back 9 – March 2nd
• Pronghorn – Nicklaus Course Open
• Quail Run Golf Course – March 15th
• River’s Edge Golf Course – Open
• Sunriver Resort – Meadows – May 20th;
• Sunriver Resort – Woodlands – April 15th
• Sunriver Caldera Links – April 15th
• Sunriver Crosswater Club – April 8th
• Tetherow Golf Club – March 28th
• Widgi Creek Golf Club – March 3rd
