You may find yourself watching one of today's hottest bands at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in the Old Mill District one minute, and another you will be walking the streets of Downtown Bend, indulging in samples of Central Oregon's famous craft beer and contemporary brewery food, or attending the annual fair & rodeo or one of the hundreds of other events at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds & EXPO Center. If you are traveling from out of town for some of Central Oregon's yearly events, like the Sisters Quilt ShowPacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival or Airshow of the Cascades, we encourage you to take a look at our many places to stay. Spooktacular Drive-in Movie Fundraiser

Looking for some safe yet scary good Halloween fun? Ghosts, goblins and ghoulies of all ages are invited to the First Annual Spooktacular Drive-in Movie Fundraiser benefiting Every Child Central Oregon. The event takes place Thursday, October 29 at Cascade Relay Warehouse in Bend, which has partnered up with the local nonprofit affiliate to host this debut fundraiser and help it hit a $5,000+ goal.

On screen for the big event will be the spirited, spooky classic comedy “Casper.” There will also be a costume contest and raffle baskets filled with gifts, goodies and treats.

Cost for the event is $50 per car, where you can watch the movie from your car or use lawn chairs, blankets, etc., at your spot. Tickets must be purchased in advance:

There will be an onsite food truck, plus popcorn and Halloween goodies available for sale.  Okay to bring snacks from home.
