Our calendar page provides visitors with a comprehensive list of the myriad events that take place all over Central Oregon. The region includes Bend, Sunriver, Sisters, Redmond, La Pine, Prineville, Madras, and Warm Springs, so no matter where you are in the high desert, there is always something for you to do. You may find yourself watching one of today's hottest bands at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in the Old Mill District one minute, and another you will be walking the streets of Downtown Bend, indulging in samples of Central Oregon's famous craft beer and contemporary brewery food, or attending the annual fair & rodeo or one of the hundreds of other events at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds & EXPO Center. If you are traveling from out of town for some of Central Oregon's yearly events, like the Sisters Quilt Show or the Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival, we encourage you to take a look at our many places to stay. Or, if your desired event brings you to town for only a day, check out all of our unique restaurants and brewpubs - there is surely something to please everyone! Oregon High Desert Classic I

Oregon High Desert Classic I @ J Bar J Youth Ranch | Bend | Oregon | United States

Oregon High Desert Classics are hosted on a beautiful 40-acre ranch in sunny Bend, Oregon. These premier AA hunter/jumper competitions attract top riders from all over the Western United States and Canada.

Proceeds of the Oregon High Desert Classics support five youth-serving agencies parented by J Bar J Youth Services. To learn more about J Bar J and their programs, click here.

Munch & Music Free Concert

Munch & Music Free Concert @ Drake Park | Bend | Oregon | United States

Every Thursday, July 12th – August 16th in Drake Park. The evening kicks off at 5:30pm with live music. Don’t worry you’ll have time in between the opening and headliner acts to grab some delicious grub from one of the many food trucks and vendors or sip on a Deschutes Brew to quench your summer time thirst while you browse local artisans and craftspeople’s booths. Kids will love the family fun area complete with bouncy houses to wear off a bit of Thursday night energy!  Check out the band schedule at:  Munch & Music

FOOD & LIBATIONS

The Munch & Music food court is sure to have something for everyone! As one of the largest gatherings of all you favorite local food trucks and vendors; make sure you arrive hungry!

The Deschutes Brewery Libation Stations will be available with beer, wine and a specialty cocktail weekly. With our walk-around policy, you can roam the area freely with your beverage! No outside alcohol is allowed on the event premise.

DOG POLICY

We love your dogs, but please leave them at home. Our event attracts large crowds of people and many small children. Thank you for sparing your pup the overwhelming atmosphere by leaving them at home.

LOCATION

Located in the iconic Drake Park of downtown Bend, head downtown and you can’t miss us! With an outdoor amphitheater nestled just along the Deschutes River, this is an ideal spot for a weekly picnic with live music and lots of grassy knolls to share. Lawn seating only. Only low back chairs are permitted. And, please be courteous of those willing to sit on the ground and place your chairs towards the back of the concert seating area. We thank you in advance!

Cruise To The Center of Oregon @ Crook County Fairgrounds

Crook County Rodders invite you to their annual car show at the Crook County Fairgrounds in Prineville.  “Cruise To The Center of Oregon”  has a variety of antique and classic cars featuring everything from bombers, to lowrider and hot rods.  There will be great food, art, music and vendors.  Plus, Redmond’s Home Depot will host the ever popular children’s workshop again this year.

6th Annual Antique and Classic Car Show @ Village at Sunriver

Flash back to the past when Village Bar & Grill presents the 6th annual Sunriver Antique & Classic Car Show in the Village at Sunriver on Saturday, July 20 from 10am – 2pm.   Enjoy a summer’s day listening to music while wandering through the Village admiring cars from the 1920’s and 30’s, hot rods, and the muscle cars of the 70’s and 80’s.

For The Love of Pets Benefit Festival

For The Love of Pets Benefit Festival @ American Legion Park
For the Love of Pets Benefit Festival is a fun family event that takes place in Redmond’s American Legion Park on July 20th.  “Bring the whole family (two- and four-legged) to enjoy a good time benefiting local shelters and rescues.
This FREE, dog-friendly community festival is host to an IPA tasting, music, great food and adoptable pets galore. 100% of funds raised at the event are split among the beneficiaries, which for 2019 are Brightside Animal Center, Three Rivers Humane Society, Humane Society of the Ochocos and Cascade Canine Rescue (in Tumalo).
Raffle announcements and giveaways every hour! Bring product donations (e.g. cat litter, tennis balls, bleach) in exchange for raffle tickets.

Jefferson County Fair

The Jefferson County Fair in Madras is considered Central Oregon’s Best Free Fair!  Bring the whole family and enjoy concerts, food, carnival, animals, exhibits, rodeo and a whole lot more!  This event is held at the beautiful Jefferson County Fair complex. There will be concerts each night.

“The Subaru of Bend Outside Games is four days of celebrating the best that Central Oregon has to offer: live music, local brews, and fun and games on the trails, around the town, at Mt Bachelor, at Elk Lake and on the beautiful Deschutes River.

We will sip, bike, splash, paddle, run, dine, laugh and play with you.  Bring the kids & the dogs. You will challenge yourselves, learn from the pros, try a new sport, head out to a concert, and just relax under the summer skies in the best of company, and for the best of causes.

One of Bend’s most beautiful events is back!  Balloons Over Bend Children’s Festival is a full weekend of balloon launches, night glows and balloon-filled skies that kicks off on Friday, July 26th with fun and games at the Children’s Festival.
