Our calendar page provides visitors with a comprehensive list of events taking place all over Central Oregon. The region includes Bend, Sunriver, Sisters, Redmond, La Pine, Prineville, Madras, Maupin and Warm Springs, so no matter where you are in the high desert, there is always something for you to do. You may find yourself watching one of today's hottest bands at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in the Old Mill District one minute, and another you will be walking the streets of Downtown Bend, indulging in samples of Central Oregon's famous craft beer and contemporary brewery food, or attending the annual fair & rodeo or one of the hundreds of other events at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds & EXPO Center. If you are traveling from out of town for some of Central Oregon's yearly events, like the Sisters Quilt ShowPacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival or Airshow of the Cascades, we encourage you to take a look at our many places to stay. Dirksen Derby

Dirksen Derby @ Mt Bachelor

The Dirksen Derby is back at Mt Bachelor.  The Main Goal at the Dirksen Derby is to bring the international Snowboard and Sit-Ski communities together for an incredibly fun and memorable weekend full of strong friendships, intense competition and fond memories.

FORMAT

This year’s upcoming DD12 event will include 17 divisions for Snowboarders and Sit-Skiers of all ages and abilities. The race format will change to one run on Saturday plus one run on Sunday for a combined time (no qualifier day). Timing for the DD12 race will be professionally and precicly timed by CJ Sports Timing. Registration for the race will open to pre-qualified racers on October 1st, 2019. Pre-registration will include: Top 25% from the DD11, Local spots, International spots, Qualifying 18-19 Race spots, Sponsor spots, plus all former Derby and Olympic gold medalists A waiting list is also available for all other racers on DirksenDerby.com.
