Our calendar page provides visitors with a comprehensive list of the myriad events that take place all over Central Oregon. The region includes Bend, Sunriver, Sisters, Redmond, La Pine, Prineville, Madras, and Warm Springs, so no matter where you are in the high desert, there is always something for you to do. You may find yourself watching one of today's hottest bands at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in the Old Mill District one minute, and another you will be walking the streets of Downtown Bend, indulging in samples of Central Oregon's famous craft beer and contemporary brewery food, or attending the annual fair & rodeo or one of the hundreds of other events at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds & EXPO Center. If you are traveling from out of town for some of Central Oregon's yearly events, like the Sisters Quilt Show or the Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival, we encourage you to take a look at our many places to stay. Or, if your desired event brings you to town for only a day, check out all of our unique restaurants and brewpubs - there is surely something to please everyone! New Hikes in CO Cascades @ McMenamins

The History Pub at McMenamins presents “New Hikes in The Central Oregon Cascades”.  This event features author and hiking guru William L. Sullivan.  He will take you on a tour of a dozen new or dramatically changed trails in the area between Salem and Bend.  These trails are featured in the new 5th edition of his guidebook, 100 Hikes in the Central Oregon Cascades.  Doors open at 5:30 in Father Luke’s Room.  Presentation starts at 7pm.  First come first served, so get there early.

History Pub: The Beaverton Outlaws

History Pub:  The Beaverton Outlaws @ McMenamins

The History Pub at McMeamins will feature a presentation on the “Beaverton Outlaws”.  These aviators literally flew in the face of the federal government in the 1930s when home built aircraft was marked illegal. This presentation will feature a video history of these men, complete with oral interviews of the outlaws themselves, highlighting what it was like to fly in the US at the dawn of aviation. Join us to discover how these men, through their passion and dedication, forever changed the face of general aviation, as we know it today.

Doors open at 5:30, presentation is at 7:00pm.  Be sure to come early… seats go fast..
