Our calendar page provides visitors with a comprehensive list of the myriad events that take place all over Central Oregon. The region includes Bend, Sunriver, Sisters, Redmond, La Pine, Prineville, Madras, and Warm Springs, so no matter where you are in the high desert, there is always something for you to do. You may find yourself watching one of today's hottest bands at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in the Old Mill District one minute, and another you will be walking the streets of Downtown Bend, indulging in samples of Central Oregon's famous craft beer and contemporary brewery food, or attending the annual fair & rodeo or one of the hundreds of other events at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds & EXPO Center. If you are traveling from out of town for some of Central Oregon's yearly events, like the Sisters Quilt Show or the Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival, we encourage you to take a look at our many places to stay. Or, if your desired event brings you to town for only a day, check out all of our unique restaurants and brewpubs - there is surely something to please everyone! 24/SEVEN Theater Project
Aug 10 all-day
24/SEVEN Theater Project @ Cascades Theatrical Company

The 4th Annual 24/SEVEN Theater Project returns to Cascade Theatrical Company!
CONCEPT:   Seven Playwrights. Seven Directors. Seven 10 minute plays written, rehearsed and performed in 24 hours! One night of Amazing Theater!

PROCESS:
Writers gather on Friday night (Aug. 9) at 7:30 PM to get their assignments: a pop cultural reference, a line of dialogue, a character name and a prop. The writers have until 4:00 AM to complete a 10 minute script.
Directors report at 6:00 AM, and each is assigned a script to review, cast and stage for one Saturday night performance.
Actors report at 8:00 AM to memorize lines and rehearse.
It’s a creative process on steroids, with one performance of the finished product 24 hours later!
