Newberry Country comes together for fun and a heart to raise non-profit funds to benefit the Oregon Chapter of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. The last weekend of July, the annual Newberry Event Music Festival features multi-genre live performances, a charity to defeat multiple sclerosis. 20+ bands, 2 stages, 5 acres. Free camping. Great food, brews, ciders, spirits, art vendors. This limited ticket fundraising festival feels like a private party good time for a good cause. Don’t miss it!
The Deschutes County Fair brings you the American Rock Band – Collective Soul on Wednesday, July 31st. This concert is FREE with a concert pass and paid Fair admission. Doors open at 5:30 – show starts at 7:00pm. You can pick up your free pass at all Central Oregon McDonald’s and Point S Tire & Auto stores, each Wednesday from 2-7pm starting July 3rd.
Sisters Folk Festival once again offers the ever popular Americana Song Academy at beautiful Caldera. This exceptional “Song Camp” inspires people to believe in their creativity and helps develop a community that supports that pursuit”. Artists who will be performing at the Sisters Folk Festival arrive 4 days early to teach and share all aspects of music, songwriting performance and singing. “Campers” deeply engage and nurture their music through participation in workshops, communal meals and activities at the performing arts camp. The Sisters Folk Festival is a three-day music festival in beautiful Sisters, OR. The Festival hosts eleven stages, including a 900 -seat venue at Village Green Park in downtown Sisters and 1,100 seats at Sisters Art Works. Many greats have shared their talents since 1995 and this year hosts almost 50 acts. “All the Town’s a Stage”. This annual event sells out early so get your tickets now!
