You may find yourself watching one of today's hottest bands at the Les Schwab Amphitheater in the Old Mill District one minute, and another you will be walking the streets of Downtown Bend, indulging in samples of Central Oregon's famous craft beer and contemporary brewery food, or attending the annual fair & rodeo or one of the hundreds of other events at the Deschutes County Fairgrounds & EXPO Center. If you are traveling from out of town for some of Central Oregon's yearly events, like the Sisters Quilt Show or the Pacific Crest Weekend Sports Festival, we encourage you to take a look at our many places to stay. Or, if your desired event brings you to town for only a day, check out all of our unique restaurants and brewpubs - there is surely something to please everyone! ALL UPCOMING EVENTS
The Village at Sunriver comes alive with over 300 contemporary and traditional quilts on display in a beautiful outdoor setting. There will also be special exhibits and other handcrafted items including totes, potholders, table runners, and small quilts for sale. All quilts and items are made by the Mountain Meadow Quilters guild.
Mt Bachelor Quilters Guild is hosting a Quilt Show in Pioneer Park on Saturday, August 17th. You’ll love these incredible pieces of art and craftsmanship. There will be a Boutique, Member Sales Table and a Raffle. Proceeds support the guild’s charities and the Sew Teach Me program in Bend.
Guild members and friends have made a large number of beautiful things that will be for sale. They include aprons, potholders, table runners, microwave-safe bowl holders. Each item is unique and locally-made. All proceeds go to the Guild.

This is a sales area where guild members and friends sell quilt-related items they no longer use. There will be fabric, quilt magazines and books, patterns, rulers, sewing tools, and more. Items are “priced to sell.” A portion of the proceeds goes to the Guild.
The community of Wamic in North Central Oregon is known as The Gateway to the Barlow Trail. To commemorate this historic site they host the Barlow Trail Rendezvous Days complete with period costumes and black powder exhibitions by mountain men and cowboys. This is a family event that includes a parade, Tom’s Train, games, food, a cake walk, a chili cook-off and a Quilt Show. Come walk in the footsteps of our earliest pioneers and enjoy this family fun day in Wamic.
