Central Oregon Beers Help State Top National List

Crux outside table and beers

“Oregon beer, more than any, has helped introduce the masses to the potential of drinking great brews, and, with new breweries seemingly opening on a weekly basis, it’s the best damn place to be a beer lover in the US.”

That quote from the folks at Thrillest.com and its list ranking the states, based on the state’s beer. Oregon came out on top, thanks, in large part, to the role Central Oregon breweries play in the state’s beer scene. Central Oregon is home to nearly two dozen breweries, giving places like Portland a run for its money. The craft beer world is a notoriously competitive, yet collaborative and friendly industry that seems to thrive when more breweries are added to the mix. (At least here in Central Oregon.)

So we’ll relish this ranking by raising a pint and saying with pride: We’re No. 1! We’re No. 1!
