On a list topped by Milan that also includes Papua, New Guinea, Rabat, Morocco, Steamboat Springs and New Orleans,  little ole Bend, Oregon is one of the New York Times Top 52 Places to Go in 2015.

The reasons for Bend’s inclusion are simple: We’re a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. And while most towns have a Starbucks on every corner (we have several) you can’t hardly spit in Central Oregon without hitting a fantastic brewpub.

“Bend has nearly 300 miles of singletrack mountain bike trails, including two new ones, Tyler’s Traverse and Duodenum; a soon-to-open fat-bike trail (at Wanoga Sno-Park); world-class skiing at Mount Bachelor; and an embarrassment of riches for hikers, fishermen, climbers, stand-up paddle boarders and kayakers.”
