OSU Science Pub - The Color Blue @ McMenamins | Bend | Oregon | United States

OSU professor Mas Subramanian’s lecture  “The Color Blue” explores how a serendipitous discovery by his team led to the brilliant blue pigment that the world has long sought.   Professor Subramanian’s lab is now writing a new chapter in color pigment chemistry and changing the marketplace for both industry and artists.  This event is part of the OSU Cascades Science Pub series and takes place at McMenamins.  Science Pubs are free to the community but reservations are required.  Register by 5:00pm the day prior to each Science Pub at http://www.osucascades.edu/sciencepubs.  Networking, food and beverage service begin at 5:30.  The presentation begins at 6:30pm.
