Check-in is at the West Village base area. Upon check in we’ll loan you grabber tools and reusable buckets for trash collection. We'll focus on collecting litter along the perimeter of the parking lot, in the Nordic Center, off the shop road, and around the base area buildings. We may even head to Skyliner and Sunrise if time and resources allow.
For the safety of our guests and employees, all guests must stay on designated hiking trails (Evergreen or Fly Creek) if they choose to search for litter on the slopes. Wandering off designated hiking routes to collect litter will not be allowed. Don’t worry though--our teams will retrieve litter under Pine Marten and off designated trails when we are closed to the public.
Come prepared! Wear proper footwear and gloves — sunscreen, hat, sunglasses, layers, and a pack with water and snacks are strongly recommended.
Thanks for helping Mt. Bachelor protect the environment so future generations can Play Forever!
