Offered at 10:00 a.m. & 1:00 p.m.  Discover Your Forest offers donation based 90-minute interpretive tours mid-December through late March. Learn about winter ecology at Mt. Bachelor and the geology of Central Oregon, the Deschutes National Forest watershed and the plants and animals found throughout this area while on a snowshoe hike led by U.S. Forest Service Volunteer Rangers. Programs are located at our West Village Base area. December: 23-31st  January: 2-5, 18-19 February: 1-2, 15-16 March: 1-2, 15-16, 24-30 Tour registration is recommended. Visit Interpretive Programs Signup - Discover Your Forest to reserve a spot. Please check-in 10-15 minutes prior to the tour start time at the USFS snowshoe hut, located just across the plaza from Mt. Bachelor Mountain Gateway building in West Village. FREE — snowshoes are provided, however, guests may wear their own if preferred. Donations accepted on behalf of non-profit partner, Discover Your Forest, to fund this volunteer-based program.
