Blazin’ Saddles was opened in 2010 in its current location by Mother and Son Jacquie Zanck and Casey Meudt. Jacquie and Casey are proud Sisters Locals of over 20 years. With Jacquie being a lifelong avid rider and past racer, Casey grew up riding and wrenching bikes.
The Blazin’ Saddles team has over 50+ years of industry experience, along with a great product line up and our amazing, knowledgeable, and friendly employees. Combining all of this with deep involvement in THE AMAZING CENTRAL OREGON CYCLING COMMUNITY, it is no surprise Blazin’ Saddles has become very successful and continues to grow, being named Sisters Country Business of the Year in 2013. Blazin’ Saddles has now expanded to a second location an hour west of Sisters, in Mckenzie Bridge. Going into their seventh year in Sisters, and second season in Mckenzie Bridge, the staff at Blazin Saddles are ready to impress.
Blazin’ Saddles is a full-service bike retailer carrying a broad assortment of bike brands and is fully equipped and trained to handle your repair needs on almost any brand of bike, including brands we don’t carry. But we’re more than just a bike shop, also offering apparel and accessories to improve your rides.

DiamondStone is an “off the beaten path” rural resort offering individual lodge suites, group accommodations, and an event facility. DiamondStone hosts a 3-day summer charity music festival “The Newberry Event,” an outdoor multi-genre live music ticketed event, the last weekend of July. The festival fun raises awareness & research funds to fight multiple sclerosis. Over 20 bands on two rotating stages. Free tent camping, teen tickets and kids under 13 free. Great food, brews, ciders, spirits & art vendors. With limited tickets, it has become a private party good time for a good cause, now in its 8th year. (If COVID Restrictions allow.)
The Homestead Lodge Treetop Suite is a flexible meeting space to seat 20-30. The 1,200 sq ft space is the entire upstairs of the pole barn lodge, with forest treetop views. cathedral ceiling, 10′ drop-down screen and A/V system are available for movies or presentations. The Treetop Suite has comfortable furniture, 5 tables with chairs (regular & bar height) and casual couches. Great bar / social area. Large furnished decks on each end allow guests to spread out, and smoke outdoors. Canna-friendly private property. There is a full kitchen with dishes, glasses, cookware, refrigerators, microwave, range/stove and dishwasher. The Paulina Plunge Downhill Waterfall Mt. Bike Tour is a wet and wild family adventure for all ages from 4 to 70. We will descend over six miles down a smooth forest trail, where our friendly guides will lead you to six pristine waterfalls and two natural water slides.
Gravity will be your friend as you descend deep into the Oregon back country, on your Fat Tire Mt.Bike. Only here will you discover the grandeur of the Paulina Mountains and the secrets of Chief Paulina’s water slide. Along the way you will learn the legends of the ancient indigenous people and the saga of Chief Paulina. During the length of the trip you will descend over 2,000 vertical feet, on your Fat Bike. That translates into four 1-1/2 mile downhill biking segments to each waterfall stop. The group will visit up to six pristine waterfalls ranging in height from 10 to 40 feet, including two safe natural water slides to explore and play on. Two short energetic nature hikes, at a distance of half mile each, will be required to reach the bubbling falls and slides below. This safe fun family excursion is suitable for all active ages 4 to 70 years young with confident beginner to intermediate biking skills. Trail-A-Bike Tandems for non-riding kids 4 to 8 years are available.
Learn the legends of Chief Paulina as you travel in his footsteps. Our guides will share their knowledge of the local history and geology as you travel to the waterfalls. Exploring this natural water park will be the highlight of your Central Oregon vacation. You’ll have the time of your life!
