Artist Talk: The Spaciousness of Change

Join artists Kathleen Caprario, Sarah Grew, Sandra Honda, and Mei-ling Lee for a conversation on how climate change is reshaping Central Oregon through drought, wildfire, heat domes, and other extreme events. The artists will discuss their work in photography, sculpture, sound, and mixed media, using materials such as wildfire soot, sheetrock dust, textiles, plaster, oral histories, and field recordings. Together, they reflect on environmental loss and resilience while exploring how art can help imagine more hopeful futures.
