Author Event & Book Launch: Emily Mizen

Join Herringbone Bookstore for a special afternoon celebrating the debut of The Pumpkin Squidwith Central Oregon author and illustrator Emily Mizen.

Emily will read from her beautifully illustrated picture book, share the inspiration and creative process behind the story, answer audience questions, and sign books following the presentation. Inspired by Oregon's landscapes and brought to life through Emily's original watercolor illustrations, The Pumpkin Squid is a heartwarming tale of curiosity, friendship, forgiveness, and finding where you belong.

This event also marks a remarkable milestone: The Pumpkin Squid is both Emily Mizen's debut picture book and the first publication from Bearded Bookseller Press. Come help celebrate the launch of a new author and a new independent publishing house.
