Her sound is sultry and inviting, with lush vocals and velvety horn lines that flow together seamlessly. There is something grounded yet weightless about her presence as she radiates joy from the stage. Pulling inspiration from jazz and neo-soul, her music is centered around groove and storytelling. There is a certainty and openness about her that brings a room full of strangers together to explore the depths of our human experience through song.

Carrie released her debut EP “Good Tension” in 2023, and is now bringing her original music to life while putting down roots in the Pacific Northwest. She has performed regionally at venues including Tractor Tavern (Seattle), Sunset Tavern (Seattle), Spanish Ballroom (Tacoma), and Kelly’s Olympian (Portland), and at the Northwest Folklife Festival. She also performs with her new band Queen of Hearts, and with her husband in Jennings Jazz Duo.
