Date September 14, 2026
Time 7:00 PM – 8:00 PM

Tree rings tell us more than just the age of a forest. They hold important clues about our region’s climactic, ecological, cultural, and disturbance histories. Join Dr. Andrew Merschel, Lead Scientist and Co-director at the OSU Tree Ring Lab, as we travel back in time to explore what Oregon’s old-growth forests can teach us about adaptation and resilience in a rapidly changing world. Presentation 7:00 - 8:00 pm. Doors open at 5:30 pm.
