Sometimes after a day full of adventure, all that you crave is fresh and delicious sandwich. And a beer, obviously! Luckily, Central Oregon’s got the goods. Keep reading for the best sammies, sandos, and sandwiches around the region!

In the iconic downtown Bend breezeway, the Beach Hut Deli offers a great selection of hot and cold sandwiches in a “chill” setting perfect for catching a game on TV or just people watching on Mirror Pond Plaza. Try the Surfin’ Bird with turkey, avocado, bacon, cream cheese, mayo, mustard, pickles, tomato, red onions, lettuce, Greek peppers and cheese.

In the old box factory, Valentine’s Deli serves up some seriously good subs. Their Hot Italian-served with toasted pepperoni, salami, hot capicola, ham, and provolone cheese on a Sparrow Bakery hoagie, is the perfect post-hike bite.

Stacks Dinner and Delicatessen, a true New York-style deli, opened its doors in Bend’s Old Mill District in February 2026. Visitors can enjoy signature, mouth-watering sadwiches like cured in-house pastrami and corned beef, beet-cured salmon lox, latkes, and rotisserie-roasted meats.

In beautiful Sunriver, Sunriver Brewing‘s menu is filled with post-adventure favorites, but one of my staples is the grilled cheese, piled high with all of the cheesy goodness the heart desires.

Josie K’s Deli + Kitchen serves classic deli favorites with locations in Sunriver and La Pine. Their fresh Turkey Bacon Avocado Sub features thinly sliced turkey, bacon and swiss cheese on a Big Ed’s hoagie roll with mayo, avocado spread, crunchy lettuce and sweet tomatoes.

The Row at Bend’s Tetherow Resort has a great pub-style menu that includes all your favorites like burgers and wings and a rotating beer menu featuring several local breweries. It’s also just a hop, skip and a jump from Mt. Bachelor, Central Oregon’s premiere ski destination.

For an out of this world dining experience, Worthy Brewing is your place thanks to the world’s first “Hopservatory.” Here, you can enjoy a beer and view Central Oregon’s famous starry-night sky through a world-class telescope. We’re loving their Chicken Pesto Sando, stacked-high with grilled chicken breast, arugula, sun-dried tomato, pickled red onion, and melted swiss cheese on ciabatta slathered with home-made pesto.
