First Friday Opening: Passage of Eras: Selected Works by Kathleen Branch

Scalehouse presents Passage of Eras, an exhibition of selected paintings by Bend-based artist Kathleen Branch, featuring works from throughout her career alongside her most recent paintings. Inspired by Mid-Century Modern design, the exhibition explores color, geometric form, movement, and balance through contemporary abstract compositions. Drawing on the optimism and experimentation of the postwar era, Branch combines vintage-inspired color palettes, clean lines, and organic forms. Her background as a scenic artist and set designer informs her approach to space, scale, and the relationship between art and its surroundings.

The exhibition is on view November 6, 2026–January 22, 2027. Join us for the First Friday opening reception on November 6 and the second First Friday reception on December 4, both from 5:00pm–7:00pm.

Free and open to the public.
