Lightwire presents - The Adventures of Tortoise and Hare: The Next Gen

Dazzling visuals, imaginative storytelling and a soundtrack that moves from classical to pop bring one of Aesop’s most beloved fables brilliantly into the modern age. 'The Tortoise and the Hare: The Next Gen' is a fresh, high-energy adventure for the whole family, filled with humor, heart and a little friendly competition.

The story picks up 10 years after the famous race, with Tortoise and Hare now raising children of their own. But smartphones, video games and modern-day distractions have created a whole new set of challenges. When Tortoise Junior and Lil’ Hare head off on a race of their own and venture into unexpected territory, Old Man Tortoise and Big Daddy Hare must put their differences aside and work together to find them.

A clever new spin on a classic tale about family, friendship, connection and discovering that sometimes the finish line isn’t what matters most.

Tickets: $17 - $37 (plus $8 Historic Preservation fee)
