About the Band

Over more than 25 years and a couple thousand shows — in bands such as The Foggy Hogtown Boys and The Lonesome Ace Stringband — John Showman and Chris Coole have built a rare and intuitive musical bond. Their sound lives somewhere between old-time, bluegrass, and folk, where tradition and originality share equal footing.
