The Englishman: A Tribute To The Music Of Sting

Date March 20, 2027
Time 7:30 PM

The Englishman is a theatrical celebration of the music of Sting, from the groundbreaking years of The Police to the remarkable breadth of his solo career. Through incredible musicianship, compelling storytelling, integrated video and lighting, the show follows a musician whose sound has never stood still. It begins with Sting’s roots in jazz and the energy of the London punk era, moves through the rock and reggae rhythms that made The Police a worldwide sensation, and opens into the jazz, pop, and global influences of his solo work.

Along the way, the songs tell their own story: “Roxanne,” “Message in a Bottle,” “Every Little Thing She Does Is Magic,” “Every Breath You Take,” “Englishman in New York,” “Fields of Gold,” “Shape of My Heart,” "We'll Be Together," “Fragile,” and so many more.

Sting’s music has crossed genres and generations, earning 17 Grammy Awards, a Golden Globe, an Emmy, four Academy Award nominations, and Kennedy Center Honors. With The Police, he was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame. The Englishman brings that extraordinary catalog to the stage in a two-hour show performed by accomplished artists whose careers include touring with or opening for Sting, Peter Gabriel, Bono, Bruce Springsteen, Tracy Chapman, Harry Connick Jr., Hall & Oates, Dr. John, Joan Baez, Roy Orbison, and the Cherry Poppin Daddies.

It is an evening of your favorite songs, unexpected musical turns, and the shared thrill of hearing an entire theater sing along, a tribute to the music and to the memories people have made with it.
