About Steins Pillar Trailhead
The parking area for this trail is accessed near the end of a windy and bumpy dirt road that climbs elevation steeply, so be sure your vehicle can handle the drive.
The trailhead itself provides access to Steins Pillar Trail (#837), which allows visitors to get to the base of an intriguing rock feature and actually touch the volcanic plug if they desire.
