For decades, people have been coming to Paulina Lake and the Newberry Crater to recreate. One of the great secrets of a Central Oregon adventure is staying overnight in one of Paulina Lake Lodge rustic cabins. The fact that eighty percent of our visitors come back year after year is a testament to how special it is to stay at Paulina Lake Lodge.
We have maintained the original atmosphere and feel of the resort even in the renovations to our cabins. Our 14 cabins come ready for your adventure. Full kitchens, linens, full bathrooms, and firewood are all provided to make your stay comfortable.
Located in the Deschutes National Forest, Paulina Lake Lodge is a complete summer and winter family resort. Our rustic lodge is set on the shore of Paulina Lake, inside world-famous Newberry Caldera, a lake formed by ancient volcanic activity in the crater of Mt. Newberry.
Our experienced staff is anxious to offer advice on where to go and how to hook up for the best fishing. We have rental boats and motors, moorage, gas, and oil to keep any boating enthusiast out doing what they love best. We rent paddle boards, kayaks, canoe and pedal boats. A general store stocked with groceries, sundries, beverages and fishing licenses is available for those last-second items and a complete tackle and bait shop are supplied exclusively for our guests.
Stop by the Paulina Lake Lodge & Restaurant for a bite to eat at our restaurant, complete with bar and coffee barista its sure to impress even the most seasoned of travelers. We even offer rental cabins for those who like to experience the outdoors without leaving the comfort of home. A recreational paradise for fishing, hiking, snowmobiling, cross-country skiing, or just plain loafing! So much awaits you at majestic Paulina Lake. Our delicious lunches and dinners feature favorites like our Chefs’ famous Prime Rib and homemade cobblers. This oasis of the high desert impresses travelers from all over the country. We have great trophy fish mounts that will surely spark the imagination of any skilled angler. Also awaiting inside is a full cocktail bar and coffee barista to compliment any diner’s taste.
Paulina Lake Lodge General Store is stocked during the summer months with fishing licenses, tackle, clothes, food, beer, and other supplies for any outdoor enthusiast. If your staying with us in one of our great cabins or just passing by, make sure and stop to take in all Paulina lake has to offer. Our restaurant will open during unscheduled hours for parties of 10 or more during Winter.
