About Widgi Creek Golf Club

Widgi Creek Golf Club is nestled among the giant Ponderosa pines in the Deschutes National Forest, between the snow-capped peaks of the Cascades and the spectacular Deschutes River, and only minutes from a bustling and hip city filled with unique eateries, galleries, shops and more…In the middle of everything that is Central Oregon.

That is where you will find Widgi Creek. That is where you will find 18 golf holes on the top of many visitors and locals “Must Play” lists each year. That is where you will find a challenging 6,900-yard Robert Muir Graves-designed course with tight fairways, undulating greens and some of the best scenery you can imagine on a golf course. And that is where you can find a golf club where friends and families can enjoy relationships that go beyond golf – relationships that last a lifetime.

At just under 7,000 yards from the back tees and 5,000 from the forward tee boxes, Widgi offers a unique and fair challenge to all golfers. What the course might lack in yardage, it makes up for with tight, tree-lined fairways and large, undulating greens. The 653-yard third hole is one of the longest Par 5s in the country and the 216-yard 11th hole is all the Par 3 you can handle.

Widgi Creek also features an expansive practice facility that includes two practice putting greens, a bunker area and natural grass driving range. PGA professionals also are on staff to provide a variety of lesson options to fit any budget. But sometimes the score just does not matter. And contrary to what Mark Twain once said about golf…A round at Widgi Creek is a good walk unspoiled.
