There’s no surer sign that summer has arrived in Bend than when the lights dim and the guitars plug in at Hayden Homes Amphitheater on the banks of the Deschutes River.
Since opening in 2002, the 8,000-person outdoor venue has welcomed dozens of comedians, solo acts, and bands from around the world—a trend that continues in 2025, when comedian Trevor Noah, dance-punk band LCD Soundsystem (for two nights!) and other performers take the stage for energetic sets under Bend’s starry night skies.
To help make the most of your summer concert experience, we’ve put together a look at what to expect at Hayden Homes Amphitheater in 2025—along with tips for planning a fun night out in the Old Mill District just across the Deschutes River:

New Restaurants in the Old Mill District
A number of new restaurants in the Old Mill District have opened in recent months, giving diners more options than ever a short walk from the amphitheater.
Veteran restaurateur Alice Nguyen recently opened Pho 88, giving hungry diners yet another option for where to eat in the Old Mill District. Nguyen has put together an appetizing menu chockablock with classic Vietnamese dishes—including hearty pho, filling bánh mì, and well-balanced rice plates.
If you’re around the Old Mill District early in the day, fuel up with caffeine and light bites at the Sisters Coffee Annex. The quick-service Sisters Coffee Co. kiosk serves drip coffee, cold brew, iced tea, and prepared snacks out of the cozy Maker’s Shed. If you’re hankering for espresso, the full Sisters Coffee Co. shop sits across the street with its full menu of seasonal favorites and classic drinks alike.
Finally, the all-new M’s Bakery brings together international influences and local flavors with a wide-ranging lineup of breakfast and lunch dishes. The cafe bakes its pastries and naturally fermented breads daily—and pairs those classics with huevos ahogados (a traditional Mexican breakfast dish), soups, salads, and sandwiches. A variety of touches, from handmade bathroom tiles to a Mexican-inspired food menu, pay tribute to the heritage of the husband-and-wife duo behind the bakery.

Hayden Homes Amphitheater is a Local Leader in Sustainability
Together with OnPoint Community Credit Union, the official sustainability partner of the venue, Hayden Homes Amphitheater is leading the way with a variety of environmentally conscious and sustainability-focused programs.
That work starts long before the night’s headliner plays a single note. Attendees riding to the show can park at more than 300 bike racks that help reduce traffic and cut the venue’s carbon footprint. During the venue’s 2024 season, more than 7,800 attendees rode to shows—preventing an estimated 19.08 metric tons of carbon emissions from polluting Central Oregon’s pristine air.
Once inside Hayden Homes Amphitheater, concertgoers will experience a number of green efforts. In recent years, the venue has been recognized for diverting high rates of waste from local landfills—and for achieving high levels of can and bottle redemption. In 2024, the venue began using reusable, dishwasher-safe beverage cups that boast a smaller environmental footprint than single-use vessels. The amphitheater is working to build on that success in 2025 by replacing wax-coated popcorn boxes, cutting out single-use plastic packaging, and adding helpful signage to bolster its waste diversion rate.
