AVID Cider Co. and High Desert Cornhole invite you to the “FIRST Annual Save The Melons Cornhole Tournament” at the Bend Elks Baseball Fieldhouse. As everyone knows October is breast cancer awareness month. We love nothing more than to support family and friends during tough times. Everyone has heard of or has known someone that has dealt with this disease. It’s mentally, emotionally, physically and financially draining. We would like to make this an annual event with a portion of the proceeds going to a different person each year that is fighting breast cancer. We want them to know they are not alone! Event Details:
Cost: $60 per team which includes; tournament t-shirt for each player, 1 drink token and 1 meal ticket per player (food TBD). Since this is a breast cancer tournament we will be running a women’s singles bracket. If you would like to play in both women’s and doubles the cost for the singles bracket is $20 without the extra goodies. If you only want to play women’s singles, cost will be $30 which includes the goodies mentioned above.
Prizes: 1st place will be a cash pay-out per bracket (women’s and doubles). Amount of cash pay-out will be determined by number of players/teams. Other fun prizes will be given to 2nd place and randomly throughout the tournament.
Boards will be provided by BooYah-Boards. If you do not have cornhole bags we will have some available to rent.
We will be holding a raffle with some pretty awesome things to choose from. Details coming soon!
