The 4th Annual 24/SEVEN Theater Project returns to Cascade Theatrical Company!
CONCEPT: Seven Playwrights. Seven Directors. Seven 10 minute plays written, rehearsed and performed in 24 hours! One night of Amazing Theater!
PROCESS:
Writers gather on Friday night (Aug. 9) at 7:30 PM to get their assignments: a pop cultural reference, a line of dialogue, a character name and a prop. The writers have until 4:00 AM to complete a 10 minute script.
Directors report at 6:00 AM, and each is assigned a script to review, cast and stage for one Saturday night performance.
Actors report at 8:00 AM to memorize lines and rehearse.
It’s a creative process on steroids, with one performance of the finished product 24 hours later!
