Taste of Our Town with Bevel Brewing

Adventure: It is no secret that the craft brewing scene in Bend is second to none and the natural world that surrounds us here in Central Oregon plays a big role when it comes to the inspiration of these amazing craft creations! The Taste Of Our Town series brings us to the confluence of Bend’s incredible craft brewing scene and the inspiration the natural world plays for Bend’s many brewers and craft creators. Our first installment of the Taste Of Our Town series will feature Bevel Craft Brewing.

Naturalist Guided Experience: We will begin our adventure at Bevel Craft Brewing where we will get an exclusive, behind-the-scenes tour of the production facility as well a beer tasting facilitated by a Bevel Brewer. We will learn about the history of Bevel, the passion for their beer and the influence that the Central Oregon culture and landscape has on their beer. After immersing ourselves in the production and process, we will head to the forest to uncover some of the inspiration that guides Bevel. As we stroll along a creek’s edge, our guides will share the area’s history, geology, and hydrology, forming a connection to this incredible space. After our stroll, get ready for some disc golf instruction from the pros! Another beer tasting and light appetizers will surely hit the spot before we put those newly learned disc skills to the test with a friendly competition (no prior knowledge of disc golf is necessary). The winners will receive some great Bevel items before returning to Bevel where folks are welcome to stay and enjoy the incredible food trucks before heading home!

Transportation: Meet at Bevel Craft Brewing - 911 SE Armour Rd Suite B, Bend, OR 97702 After the tour & tasting, guests will hop in a Wanderlust Tours van and head to our outdoor tasting location.
