Airshow of the Cascades

The Bright Wood Corporation Airshow of the Cascades is the largest Airshow Festival in Oregon.  Acrobatic Airplanes twisting and swirling, Jets, Warbirds from WWII flying and on static display, Military Trucks and Helicopters, Parachute Teams, Subaru of Bend Live Music, Les Schwab Car Show, Food and Drinks all at one event. With your admission you have access to the Erickson Aircraft Collection home to the largest private collection of "flying" warbirds in the country. Home to the B-17 Flying Fortress, P-51 Mustang and the Corsair made famous in the allied victories in WWII and many more. Friday night show includes acts in the sky, Pacific Power fireworks and live music by Portland Hit Machine. Sport Air Racing Council will conduct a demonstration "Air Race each day with two races, often referred to as NASCAR in the Sky... These will be prior to actual show each day, check schedule for times. The Reno National Championship Air Races will not be held this in Reno, the Sports Class is coming to Madras instead. This is your chance to watch 14 high speed sports class airplanes on a 4-mile course with 7 pylons to maneuver around. This type of opportunity is not possible anywhere in the country this year 2024.. Camping and RV space is available, one price come for a night or spend 3 nights, all the same price.
