Millie’s Chili Feed & Heritage Fair

The Deschutes Historical Museum invites the public to the Annual Chili Feed and Heritage Fair on Nov. 8-9 from 10am-4pm.  Millie’s chili will be served from 11am to 2:30pm. Over thirty years ago,  Millie Chopp volunteered to make her fantastic chili to support the Deschutes County Historical Society.  It was a HIT!  Today Millie’s chili is made by her daughter Susie Penhollow and is cooked with the same Barley Beef donated by Rastovich Farms (homesteaded by Millie’s father in 1919).  The bake sale features some of the best home bakers in the county !!  Cookies, breads, jams and preserves from old family recipes will be featured.  There will also be a raffle .  Don’t miss out on this special event !
