Artisan Event - JB Bowls @ Sunriver Resort Main Lodge

JB Bowls, Sunriver-made wooden bowls, will be setting up shop in the Main Lodge on Saturdays from 10:00 am - 1:00 pm.
A little bit about the artist:
Joe specializes in a unique bowl design called “the segmented octagon.” This construction method, which he has perfected, conserves wood resources and allows unlimited combinations of wood species to be combined into bowl creations that are unique in design and assembly as well as decorative and useful. All of the bowls start out as solid eight-chord octagon assemblies mounted on various wood bases. Each octagon shape is turned into a perfect circle inside and out, hand-sanded, and then given two coats of a food-safe finish.
