The community of Wamic in North Central Oregon is known as The Gateway to the Barlow Trail. To commemorate this historic site they host the Barlow Trail Rendezvous Days complete with period costumes. This is a family event that includes a parade, car show, scavenger hunt, kids crafts, local vendors and quilters, outhouse races, yummy food, historical buildings and items, and black powder exhibitions by their wild Mountain Men and Cowboys and so much more. New items are added every year! Don’t forget to ring the school bell to claim your scavenger hunt winnings.
