Big Wave Challenge

Come celebrate the 11^th year of the Big Wave Challenge! Back for spring 2023, this event continues to be inspired by a passion for surf and snow by Mt. Bachelor and Bend local, legendary big-wave surfer Gerry Lopez. Aloha spirit, stoke, and the desire to raise money for worthy causes has always been the driving belief for this one-of-a-kind snowboard event, and this year will continue to carry that sentiment! The BWC course will feature a series of huge sweeping banked corners, quarter pipes and spines, incorporating the natural terrain as much as possible, to create wave-like features for a flowing course that brings the surf to the mountains. Tell your friends, tune your gear, and get registered to catch a wave!
