A day to celebrate the hard work, love, and dedication of Mothers. This is a great time of year to celebrate our wildlife mothers too. The challenges facing wild mothers are daunting, finding food, providing shelter from the elements, and evading predators are amplified with often several vulnerable young ones in tow! Spring is the best time of year to observe wildlife mothers as baby birds begin to hatch, young mammals take their first wobbly steps, and new life is everywhere! Come celebrate Mother’s Day at the Nature Center where mothers will receive free admission and observe all the mothering occurring in our Lake Aspen Wildlife Sanctuary.
