Come join guided bird walks in the award-winning Crooked River Wetlands Complex in Prineville.  Nature and wildlife abound.  Amenities include over 5.4 miles of new walking, running and hiking trails, 3.25 miles of which are paved for use year-round.  A covered pavilion with two picnic tables and restrooms make for a wonderful gathering place. There is no potable water so BYOW.  Guided walks take place the 1st and 3rd Saturdays April thru October at 7:45 am. Many people enjoy walking their dogs on leash, bringing children and strollers, or recreational hiking.  The wetlands are also a wonderful place to ride bikes.  If bike riding, be sure to share the trails safely by passing on the left and announcing “passing on the left” so as not to surprise anyone.
