Earth Day Fair & Parade

The parade will go on(line).

Our favorite part of the Earth Day Parade is the creative costumes. All different types of plants, animals, insects, and mythical creatures make an appearance on the streets of downtown Bend, and it’s truly awesome. We don’t want to miss out on the magic this year, so we’re moving the parade online. We’re going to create a video montage – a virtual parade for everyone to enjoy. ALL ages are encouraged to participate.

The first 100 participants will receive a FREE sweet treat from Ida’s Cupcakes, Strictly Organic Coffee Co., or Ben & Jerry’s Ice Cream. 

To join the parade, submit your photo(s) or video by April 25th.

1. Make a costume. Need some inspiration?
2. Upload a photo or short video using the form below.*
3. Share it on social media using the hashtag #EarthDayParade (and tag us).
4. If you feel it’s safe for you, go for a walk down the block in your costume. Make someone smile!

*Your content must be appropriate and non-offensive. We will not include photos that don’t follow these basic guidelines. By submitting your content, you are granting permission to The Environmental Center to share it on social media.
