Come join us for wine, warmth and a walk through the works of Leah Wilson at December’s First Friday. Leah Wilson lives in Eugene Oregon and makes paintings and installations that are place-based records of changes that occur within environmental ecosystems over time. Her process-oriented work frequently uses or interprets scientific data or the results of observation. The majority of work in this exhibition has focused on the H.J. Andrews Research Forest, a 16,000-acre ecological research site in Oregon’s Western Cascades Mountains administered cooperatively by the U.S. Forest Service. Exhibit on view through January 4, 2020.
