Geology of Central Oregon

Here’s your chance to learn more about the rich volcanic history of the Central Oregon Cascades.  Geology of Central Oregon is a lecture plus Field Trip series presented by UO Continuing and Professional Education.  The lecture takes place on Friday evening from 5:30 to 8:30 at The Environmental Center.  Then, Saturday, you will embark on a Field Trip that will focus on recent volcanic deposits in the Three Sisters area. The field trip will involve short walks on generally flat trails.  Total walking distance will be less than one mile.  The field trip will also include a ride on the summer chair lift at Mt.
