The topic for Natural History Pub at McMenamins on 2/3 will be:  An Inside Look at The Museum’s Wildlife Training.  Did you ever wonder how they get those raptors to free fly right over your head, or the porcupine to walk on a log in front of an audience.  Jon Nelson, curator of wildlife, and members of his team work with mammals, reptile and birds year-round. How does the team maintain the well-being of animals in their care? Come and learn more about the High Desert Museum’s approach to animal care and training.  Father Luke’s Room opens at 6pm.  The presentation starts at 7pm.
