In A Landscape

Classical pianist Hunter Noack brings you an outdoor concert you won't soon forget.  He sets up his 9 foot Steinway grand piano in beautiful outdoor settings that connect people with each landscape. At an elevation of 4000 feet, the Alvord Desert is a dry lakebed that sits in the rain shadow of Steens Mountain. This is the most remote IN A LANDSCAPE concert site. All-wheel-drive vehicles recommended. The nearest gas station is 23 miles south in Fields, Oregon. We recommend you fill your tank in Burns (106 miles north) or in Fields. *There is no fuel on site.* We ask that you respect the land by adhering to a Leave-No-Trace policy on the Davis property and on Bureau of Land Management (BLM) public land.  To meet the acoustical challenges of performing in the wild, music is transmitted to concert-goers via wireless headphones. No longer confined to seats, audiences are able to explore the landscape, wander through secret glens, lie in sunny meadows, and roam old growth forests.
