International Dark Sky Week Viewing The Night Sky with Telescopes at Prineville Reservoir State Park

Celebrate International Dark Sky Week (April 2-8, 2024) at Oregon's first International Dark Sky Park, Prineville Reservoir State Park. 

After our Laser Tour (on Saturday and Sunday, April 6th and 7th) we’ll be using telescopes at the Observatory located in the Day Use Area below the campground from 9:30PM to 10:30PM. We’ll look at Jupiter as it follows the setting up, we’ll take a look at Binary Star System in the handle of the big dipper, and we’ll see what other deep space objects we can see! The Observatory is located in the Day Use Area below the campground.
