Want to learn more about the many predators found in Central Oregon? Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Gary "Gus" Gustafson at the Metolius Preserve to explore the world of predators—bobcat, cougar, fox, coyote, wolf, black bear, and more. Gus will help you learn more about their habitat, feeding preferences and techniques, reproductive behavior, and interactions with people. While it's extremely unlikely that any predators will be seen during the hike, Gus will help you to become more aware of the clues wildlife leave behind during their daily activities. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event. This is a moderate 3 mile hike on relatively flat trails.
