Join the Deschutes Land Trust and Michelle McSwain for an spring tour of Priday Ranch. With more than 10 miles of Trout Creek, Antelope Creek, and Ward Creek, rugged canyons, and native grasslands, Priday Ranch is home to a wide variety of plants and animals. Explore the meadows and canyon carved by Trout Creek as you admire towering rock walls. Learn about the natural history of the Preserve as well as past and current restoration projects. Registration is required and opens 1 month prior to the event.
Hike Rating: This is a moderate 2-3 mile hike on dirt roads and through grassy meadows along Trout Creek. Route: This hike will start near the parking area and follow dirt roads. We will venture off-trail into the meadow. Terrain will be uneven at times. Elevation gain/loss: This hike is moderate with little elevation gain/loss. What to Bring: Snacks/lunch, water, closed toe shoes. Dress for the weather.
