Saving The Dark

Worthy Brewing Garden Club and the International Dark Sky Association invite you to attend the “Saving the Dark” documentary screening on June 23rd.  This film was made in an effort to educate the public and policymakers on the effects and ways to combat light pollution.

“The night skies remind us of our place in the Universe. It gives us identity, makes us feel a connection. Sadly 80% of the world can no longer see the Milky Way in their skies. We have joined forces with the International Dark Sky Association and the Oregon Observatory at Sunriver to screen “Saving the Dark”, an important documentary about preserving and protecting the night sky for future generations to enjoy.”  This is a FREE event that starts at 7pm and ends at 8pm.
