Snowshoeing With Women Who Hike In Bend

Ring in the new year with us with a snowshoe in Bend, OR! This adventure will be rated as beginner-moderate. We'll set off for a 4-5 mile hike from the Swampy Lakes Sno Park. If you do not have snowshoes, they can be rented in Bend on the way to the mountain at Powder House or Pine Mountain Sports. Your local REI or gear shop may also have them! Dress in layers and be prepared for cold temps in the morning. Event details are subject to change to allot for winter conditions. About Women Who Hike: Women Who Hike is a US based organization that through community connects and inspires those who are on their own explorative journey through hiking, self discovery, and a connection to nature. This event is supported by Merrell! We will have some swag, and a raffle to win any pair of hiking shoes from the Merrell website. We are a Leave No Trace community group and follow the 7 Leave No Trace principles which includes ‘Being Considerate To Other Visitors.’ This means that all of our group hike events have a cap # which is contingent upon where we are hiking and what is an appropriate # for the group hike and group hike hosts. If you are on the waitlist, and a spot opens up, an email will be sent to you asking you to confirm your ticket within 24 hours. If you do not confirm, your ticket will not be valid and will be released to the next person in line on the waitlist. Further questions?
